The CTLT has been busy this summer making updates and trying to make sure our faculty and students have the best experience possible.
Summer 2 Updates
Navbar Updates
You asked, and we delivered: Announcements are now available on the course Navbar, alongside the course landing page. To accommodate this, the "Course Admin" item may shift to the "More" section depending on your screen size.

Bookstore Widget

We've updated the Bookstore widget on the Brightspace home screen to support the expansion of the Follett Access program—rebranded as "Eagle Learning Materials"—and expanded across the entire university (excluding Esperanza College) this fall. This portal is where faculty will submit textbook adoptions and students will access digital textbooks. Students will see a similar view with direct links to their digital textbook portal and access instructions at the top.
Coming This Fall
Undergraduate Grading Scale
The Faculty Senate and UEPCC have revised the undergraduate numerical grading scale, which will take effect for undergraduate flex courses this fall.
Flex instructors, please review the new rounding procedures; academic quality teams will update your syllabi before FA1.
Traditional instructors, please confirm with your department regarding syllabus requirements. (Note: These updates do not apply to graduate instructors).
Student Support Module for Trad Students

We are developing a student support module specifically for traditional students to help them navigate campus services (similar to the one we have in undergraduate flex courses). Look for instructions on how to add this module to your Brightspace courses in the Fall 1 Flex Gazette.
